Too many un needed options - pressing record button brings up a window that records you from the microphone - NOT the song that is already playing. No way to start and stop the scrolling bar to pick which part you want - the buttons do nothing. Support option takes you to a website that has no support for this program much less directions or a manual. The third time I tried support I got a 404 error. Deleted it.
It did what i wanted which was to convert a short sound clip into a ring tone But I got that spinning beach ball a lot and you can not select which part of the clip you want - seems very slow I guess you get what you pay for
As someone who didn’t want to go through the long process of making her own ringtones, of course I went searching to go and find an app that would do it for me. After finding a couple of duds in the iOS app store, I went here, and found this. And I really like it! It’s solid, it doesn’t lag my computer when I use it. I haven’t experienced the scrubbing or loading issues with this app like others have, so maybe I got lucky(?) My only wish for this would be that you could edit how long you want the ringtone to be in preferences instead of in the app itself manually, but that’s just me. I’m not much of one for wanting to always manually adjusting the selection from 40 seconds to 30, but that may be me being lazy. Overall, a solid app for me, and I’ll definitely keep using it!
SIMPLY THE BEST OUT 5 I TRIED AND ALL WERE FREE
I had another ringmaker app that for some reason no longer works. I was looking for a new one and saw the prices for other ringtone apps a bit expensive. I figured I’d try this free app and see if it was any good before spending some money. I’m glad I did. It worked just fine and with a similar format as the last app that quit on me. It’s quick and easy to use. Get it, you have nothing to lose.
Crashes, hangs, freezes, etc. Skip Free Ringtone Maker and choose another application.
